Frank E. Nute MS, CFE, CPA, CFF, CDFA, CGMA
Frank Nute has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1988, he has been helping individuals and businesses meet and overcome financial challenges for the last 12 years. Prior to that, Frank was employed by a regional CPA firm and provided tax and audit services to clients in the entertainment, construction, manufacturing and real estate industries. Frank also managed internal audit functions in the transportation, retail and health care industries.
In addition to his background in audit and tax, Frank has developed an interest in the financial issues of divorce. With an MS in Finance emphasizing Personal Financial Planning, Frank applies his skills in financial planning, audit and tax to assist clients experiencing divorce. Frank has also developed and co-lectured a monthly seminar for women that addressed the legal, financial, psychological and social issues of divorce. In addition to assisting clients in the preparation of balance sheets and financial projections, Frank has testified in court regarding life style analysis and successfully performed searches for hidden assets. Frank is Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) and is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA).
Frank has a strong understanding of internal controls and the importance of these controls in deterring fraud. Frank has led and participated in internal fraud investigations involving payroll, inventory, vendors and financial statements. Internal controls are not Frank's only strength, he has assited clients in evaluating the profitability of business lines, provided cash management and forecasting, performed tax planning and helped his small business clients to manage federal, state and employment taxes. Frank is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and has been recognized for his management accounting expertise and commitment to achieving sustainable business success by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants with the designation of Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
Frank has a BS in Economics and Business Management from the University of California, Davis (1978) and an MS in Finance emphasis Personal Financial Planning from Golden Gate University (1992). Frank is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and its tax, forensic accounting and personal financial planning sections. He is also a member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants.
